Shorts

The fog looks really cool right now burning off over the bay. (I took a picture with my phone, but it’s taking forever to post to nowthen.)

I feel like I should buy a pair of jeans just so I can fit in better on casual Friday.

I went to Stacey’s Books yesterday on Lunch to buy the Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett. I was surprised how busy it was. I like Stacey’s and it’s good to see it doing well. I’ll admit though, the first time I walked in there, I thought “Did this place used to be a Barnes & Noble and they just kept all the fixtures?” I was very confused.

Only one other person in my area of my department is here today. Slow day. I expect to get a lot of blogging, writing, and surfing done.

A woman from Tax has been walking around all morning listening to her iPod. Happy Friday!

I love how A.C.T. is calling ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore as “seldom seen” in its radio ads when Impact just did it across the bay in Berkeley. The same guy choreographed the fights for both shows.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
