Simon and Garfunkel Covers

I’ve always wanted someone to put together a compilation of hard rock and punk covers of Simon and Garfunkel tunes. For some reason they translate really well. Don’t believe me? Check ‘em out:

Hazy Shade of Winter by the Bengals: (original)

Mrs. Robinson by the Lemonheads: (original)

Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard: (original)

That last one was Me First and the Gimme Gimme’s. All they do is punk covers. They do a brilliant I Am a Rock too, but I couldn’t find it on YouTube.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
