There's a blog post in here somewhere

I just can’t figure out where it is.

I couldn’t find my Cubs hat the other day. Looked all over for it, only to go see if maybe I’d left it in my car. I found it tucked under my windshield wiper. That was lucky.

I went up to Indian Rock in Berkeley with Diana on Saturday to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Bay. There was in incident involving a youth who either threw or allowed a glass bottle to fall of the edge which then shattered dangerously close to someone climbing up the face of the rock. Drama ensued.

You may have noticed from the picture I posted of my Lincoln Log Desk Organizer that I have a bottle of whiteboard cleaner. Today I noticed that below the capital letter title “WHITEBOARD CLEANER” is a red burst that says “Great for Cleaning Whiteboards!”

Really? I never would have guessed that my whiteboard cleaner was great for cleaning whiteboards. I wonder about the poor packaging designer charged with adding something exciting to the container, only to come up with “Great for Cleaning Whiteboards!”

Can you come up with something better?

  1. Can you come up with something better?

How about this sign, affixed to the roof of several cars in NYC:

    "A1 Driving School
We teach people how to drive"

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
