Shorts

I can’t help it, even as much as the NBC coverage sucks, those rare times I happen to watch it, I love the post event interviews with the Olympians. Unlike most pro-athlete’s, they’re so happy to be interviewed. I find myself with a big smile on my face every time.

My friend’s baby called me again. I got her to say “hello”, but whenever I said her name she got all quiet. I don’t hear any adults on the other end. Not sure what’s happening. My theory is that my friend gives her his cellphone to distract her while he’s changing her, but I would still expect to hear him in the background in that case.

I’ve been watching various Olympic events online this morning. Pretty awesome. The downside is that I haven’t had time to write an actual blog post. Hopefully I’ll get that done before the end of the day. The upside is, I seem to be get way more of my actual work work done with the Olympics on in the lower right hand corner of my screen.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
