The Deadworks

The Deadworks
by Alan Goy

"Quick-paced and fresh" -Publishers Weekly

When Apple Moretti witnesses the death of her boyfriend’s father, she comes face-to-face with Delvin, a disillusioned cog in the machine of death whose obsession with her soon threatens everyone she loves as well as the very rules governing life, death, time and the universe.

At first Apple finds herself seduced by Delvin’s charms and his exciting world of the Deadworks where people stay young forever and the party never stops, but when confronted with the ghastly steps that he has taken to bring her into his world, she must take control of her life and fight for what she truly wants.

  1. Cover is GREAT! I love it, and I am not ashamed to admit how much a cover influences me when I am in a bookstore.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
