Shorts

I’m going to launch the website for my book on October 1, I decided. It’s not the cutting edge of internet technology or anything, but it will have the complete text of the book in its current draft and fabulous illustrations by my friend Squombie. I expect you all to read it!

I’ve increased the number of posts visible on the main page of this blog. I’ve been blogging a lot this week, mostly because I wrote posts for the entire week on Monday and then kept writing posts during the week anyway. Having just 3 posts visible wasn’t cutting it anymore.

I’ll be down at the Renn Faire in Gilroy this weekend as part of the Mongers Guild. I’m not sure if I’ll be in their stage show Pie Powder Court or not, but look for me on the streets trying to sell you moldy onions or some such. (No fish heads. Couldn’t find any to bring.)

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
