Baseball Predictions

Here are my baseball predictions, such as they are.

Phillies/Dodgers
The Phillies will take care of the Dodgers in LA. Whether it's in 4 or 5 games, this series isn't going back to Philadelphia.

Rays/Red Sox
If last night's extra inning affair showed us anything, it's that this series is going the full 7. You could just flip a coin right now to decide who wins, but that wouldn't bring in enough revenue. This is the "real" world series folks. Whoever wins this one will make short work of the Phils.

World Series
Rays/Red Sox 4 - Phillies 0
I'll certainly root for the Phillies if they play Tampa, and it's tempting to root for them if they play the Red Sox too. The Red Sox are on the verge of winning enough to lose the historic sympathy vote, and let's face it, as much as is made of the Cubs 100 year drought or the Curse of the Bambino, the Phillies reign supreme as the most hapless franchise in baseball history with their 10,000+ losses and not winning their first (and to date only) World Series until 1980. Not that it matters, as whichever team survives the Rays/Red Sox series will ride that wave until it crashes down on the Phillies obliterating them into the sand.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
