Fun Internet Fact Shorts

Wow, here’s a way to see time evaporate: In honor of its 10th birthday, Google has brought back its oldest available index from 2001 (here). Enter a word and see what results you would have gotten 7 years ago. Then click on “View old version on the Internet Archive” and see what the web site looked like seven years ago (including this episode of Our Intrepid Hero from April 11, 2001).

My post about how 6 designers showed collections at Project Runway’s Bryant Park Show has now been visited more in the last month than my home page.

Someone in London is digging on my improv blog, and someone found my post about Jukebox Stories by googling “Brandon Patton girlfriend”… Hmmm… Maybe someone has a cyber stalker.

  1. Well, for what it's worth, Brandon DOES have a girlfriend.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
