Steve Chasmar is posting old timey Halloween pictures to a Flickr photostream every day this month. Some of them are really freaky looking.


English is rapidly approaching 1 million words, according to the Global Language Monitor. Although, as Boing Boing pointed out "the group's "about" page has "dictionary" misspelled as "dictioanry" in one place"


As usual I feel like there needs to be a third thing. But I can't think of one right now.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
