Factory Sealed Pokemon Neo Genesis Edition 1 Boxes

For a ransom assortment of reasons, I find myself in possession of 2 factory sealed (shrink wrapped) boxes of Pokemon Neo Genesis Edition 1 booster packs. Each box contains 36 booster packs. Each booster pack contains 11 cards. For those of you keeping score at home, that means each box contains 396 cards bringing the grand total to 792 cards between the two boxes. The corners of one box are slightly dented. I don't think it's enough to damage the cards inside, but who knows. I've tried to show that in the picture below.

In any case, I'm not sure what to do with them. My 10 year-old niece collects Pokemon cards, but giving her almost 1000 cards would not only be overkill but would probably make her younger brother's head explode if I didn't also get him 1000 Yugioh cards. I also think they're probably more valuable and meaningful to a collector.

So I figure I'll sell them on eBay, but I have no idea how much to ask for them. Anyone out there have any idea what they'd be worth? I guess that's the point of selling them at auction: the market determines the price. But I want to make sure I don't set the starting price too low.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
