Shorts

The long stretch of show opening, moving, and painting hell is almost over. In the meantime, have some shorts:

I'm really enjoying the Mental Floss blog, like this post for instance about 6 Awesome Dogs with 6 Awesome Stories (including a deaf dog in Alaska that could detect approaching ships when they were still half a mile out to sea), but my god they need a copy editor. Soooooo many typos and grammatical errors in just that one post.

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
