Back to our regularly scheduled programming

Phew. Ok. I will say nothing more about that thing I've been writing about.

Probably my favorite place in San Francisco is the old Sutro Bath's ruins. One of these days I'll unearth some of my photos from there and post them. In the meantime, here are some old movies (from 1897, the year my grandfather was born) of the Baths actually in use before they were ruins:

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
