Whistle-blower: Health care industry engaging in PR tactics

A friend shared that link on Facebook and said it best in her comment:

I'm not even sure what my full opinion is on this issue, since there are so many details that need to be discussed, but I ...do know that people who believe in the Death Panel nonsense & all the other insurance co propaganda are doing nothing but helping big companies stall any meaningful debate.

I hate to say it, but this seems like a bad omen for Chicago's 2016 Olympic bid (and to a lesser degree Tokyo's). Yes, I suppose golf would be popular here, but would you really ax the national pastime if you were about to award the US the Summer Games?
