It's April Fool's Day!

Here's a great article that sucked away most of my yesterday afternoon: The Top 100 April Fool's Day Hoaxes of All Time.

The #1 hoax is of course the Swiss Spaghetti Harvest I wrote about last year.

Google, or should I say Topeka, always runs a number of April Fool's jokes. There's a good list of this year's here on wikipedia, including the new TEXTp feature on YouTube. Check out the Toshiba Space Chair commercial, but change the resolution to TEXTp

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient.
