Carla

I've never actually met Carla, to my knowledge, but given that the improv community is a rather small one, I know countless people who have. Un-Scripted even performed at a benefit for her. I wasn't free that night for some reason.

In any case, she's dying of ALS. She posted her last blog earlier this week. It's humorous and wise and sad and well worth the read, even if, like me, you never actually met her:

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
