Halloween Story 2010

Originally I had hoped to finish my latest round of edits on the novel and post the new version as my Halloween Story this year. That clearly did not happen. I'm still wrestling with renaming nearly all of the characters. Until that happens, I can't give it the read-through it needs.

But, have no fear! I found time today to write a quick one. It's only a couple pages long. I hope you enjoy it:

In 1789, the governor of Australia granted land and some animals to James Ruse in an experiment to see how long it would take him to support himself. Within 15 months he had become self sufficient. The area is still known as Experiment Farm. This is my Experiment Farm to see how long it will take me to support myself by writing.
